I had a Boox Air Note 2 before and decided to try Supernote Manta.
I couldn’t be happier with the change. More realistic feeling paper, more intuitive interface and lots of things to come.
The forever lasting tip is clearly a real plus
I’m new to e-ink tablets and just scratching the surface on all this thing can do but I’m blown away! I’m mostly using it to keep a work journal and take meeting notes. I love how easy it is to link different notes to my journal and quickly add items to my to do list and calendar.
This is my first E ink device of any kind, so there are people who are way more qualified to give a review. However, I can say that I love it and it’s satisfied my expectations, which were quite high.
I used the Nomad for a few weeks but switched to this one when it was available. I’m a mental health counselor and I take a lot of notes. I love that this helps me save paper. I also have my client notes synced to it via Word docs on google drive, so I can pull them up in session without having to go to my computer. This helps with the flow of the session.
I’m using the LAMY vista pen. So far it’s much more ergonomic than the heart of metal pen, even though I felt that that one was more stylish. My next step is to experiment with the DIY pen options.
The half folio is excellent, but for my needs I actually like the simplicity of the device alone. I even took off the pen loop.
Overall I’m thrilled with this device.
