well designed eink tablet. a lot of thought was put into the interface to avoid accidental input from resting your hand on the screen while writing.
The Supernote Nomad (A6X2) is exactly what I’ve been searching for over 15 years.
My journey started in Basic Training in 2010 with spiral-bound 5-star notebooks tucked in my leg pocket—I sketched, wrote stories, and took notes. That tactile habit stayed with me through phones, Daylio (500+ day streaks before it became overwhelming), physical planners, and Zinnia on my iPad. Nothing quite stuck until now.
What I Love
• The writing feel is fantastic—real pen-on-paper resistance with the ceramic nib. It brings back the pure joy of my old notebooks.
• Perfectly low-distraction. As a mom to a little three year old, this matters deeply. No notifications pulling me away from being present with her (and she loves “writing” in it, too!)
• Infinite paper with zero waste or guilty blank pages. I’ve imported all my old journals and templates, and everything lives together in one portable device.
• The size feels just right—like a proper little notebook I can carry anywhere.
• I feel genuinely comfortable troubleshooting and exploring the Nomad. Unlike other devices that feel like mysterious black boxes, it’s intuitive and approachable.
Bottom line: The Nomad beautifully bridges my love of real notebooks with modern practicality—tactile, focused, and presence-friendly. It’s already making me a happier, more present mom and writer.
Thank you, Supernote. This one feels special. ❤️

Love it. I use it daily to write down goals and practice my math (which I find I'm much more likely to do when I don't need to burn through paper).
Love the feeling of writing on the screen and the organizational tools. Being able to actually search through old notes for specific words and headers is so useful. And the writing itself feels just as good as writing with a gel pen on paper!
This pen is nearly perfect for the Nomad. While it doesn't have a specific button like other EMR pens, it's still an excellent writing tool. Its clear body perfectly complements the Nomad. Still 5/5 even without the button.
