Better than I expected...I thought that I would get this and only use it a few times before deciding it could not compete with pen and paper but I was wrong. I use this all the time to take notes and I can actually remember where I write things by organizing my notes in folders. I can even use it to replace a paper planner. I've only had one for a short time, but I think I will be using this for a long time to come as I use this for personal and professional meetings. It's not perfect, but it's definitely a worthwhile investment if you write.

Wasn’t expecting how soft the exterior would feel. It was an extremely nice surpise. Pen loop is sturdy. Folio holds the Nomad stronger than I was expecting.
