I have owned and used other E ink tablets. That includes once with and without backlight. I had thought that Manta without the back light would be a problem. But the the places where I usually write, I had no problem. The writing experience is absolutely fabulous. The size is perfect and the operating system experience is fast enough. The hand gestures, the keywords, the digest feature are all amazing. The heart of metal pen is also very well balanced, and great for writing.
