I just got a Nomad for my mother for her birthday after I've been using my AX5 daily for just over 2 years now. I've been using mine for both professional and personal reasons from taking notes on phone calls, marking up PDFs that need editing, organizing my calendar, personal journaling, and reading my ePub and odd book collection. My mother's been using her new device for taking notes at doctors offices, journaling, her calendar, and also taking notes on phone calls. The fact that you don't need a subscription to use these devices, the pen tips don't need replacing, and the distraction free lack of apps makes this my favorite piece of technology to use. I cannot recommend these devices enough.
