I've owned another brand before, and didn't use it much due to it's size...this is the perfect little beast. Reminds me of my good ole Moleskines. Thanks!
How do I clean the writing panel?
Hi there, you can find a guide here: https://support.supernote.com/hardware-repair/how-to-clean-your-supernote-screen
The vegan leather is a serious upgrade from the canvas cover. It is super durable, cleans easily, is sturdy and protective, but light and unobtrusive.
When they say it is for people who write they mean it. Extremely happy with this purchase and it has benefited my work flow tremendously.
I’ve spent the last 15 years trying almost every digital note-taking app and tool out there. From the big names to the niche experiments, I kept hoping one of them would finally replace the simple satisfaction of pen and paper. But no matter how advanced the features got—cloud sync, tags, handwriting recognition—something always felt missing.
Then I came across Supernote. And for the first time, I felt like I wasn’t compromising. Writing on it feels natural, almost like the page is alive. The texture, the flow of the pen, the responsiveness—it’s not just close to handwriting, it actually feels like handwriting. There’s no distracting lag, no artificial slickness. Just me, the pen, and my thoughts.
What really makes Supernote stand out is that it respects the human side of note-taking. It doesn’t try to overwhelm me with flashy features. Instead, it creates space for focus, for that quiet connection between hand and mind. Notes become more than just words on a screen—they become part of my thinking process again.
After years of searching, Supernote finally gave me back the joy of writing, with all the benefits of digital storage and organization. For me, it’s the first tool that doesn’t feel like a tool—it feels like a notebook I actually want to use every day.
Bought it to make my MBA easier to keep organized. Honestly it has been amazing. Highly recommend for anyone that has the need to keep track of numerous things over longer periods of time especially if switching between them regularly.
I am very happy with my manta.
Weird but true, my first one was stolen after I had owned it for about a month. I tried for a couple days to get the first one back, but ultimately just bought another one. So technically mine was double price and I am still happy.
The manata has been a game changer for my organization. Every time I think of a feature I wish it had, I learn that it has it. Great tool that I already recommended to several friends and coworkers.
I like this one over the capped versions My original one the cap cracked and I cannot get it tight enough to hold the pen in place. This one solves that issue.
Supernote × LAMY Crystal Clear Thinking Special Set
I got the Manta and I really appreciate that it's size is close to 8x11.5 paper. I have used it to consolidate all my paper notebooks to one. So much easier to find and much more compact. I also use it a great deal in my work on the road with instrumentation & control, sketching diagrams, electrical, and such which is not intuitive or bulky to do on a PC or on paper but which can then not be edited. I do not like using a iPad for this, but love using the Supernote. The feel is great, and no extra forced apps or accounts. The pen writes exactly where you put it so it's very natural to use. Still learning new useful shortcuts and tools with it. Have not tried moving anything to a PC yet so can't talk about that. My wife also enjoys drawing on it (she is a bit of an artist) and has high praise for it. There are a few little things like no paint can fill or some transformations when you select something. Also the battery last a long time and USB C makes charging easy.
Con
only one and it's very small is the boot time when it's fully shut down (~30 sec)
Pro’s
- Paper feel - best in class
- Focus - I think solely about the issue, not the technology
- Continuous enhancement
Con’s
- I’d like better integration
I absolutely love my Supernote - it’s the first ‘writing’ device that can actually understand my scrawled handwriting and lets me search through it. All my family members and colleagues who’ve tried it also love it. I highly recommend it for note-taking, journalling, sketching/doodling and it can also run apps.
I requested a refund for my Manta. Nothing was wrong with the device ,it worked like a dream but my issue was portability. I provided my reason, included photos, and followed their instructions. The team was friendly, and the process was fast. Thank you, Supernote. I will be purchasing the Nomad instead.
I purchased this tool to consolidate all the various paper notebooks I have going. Also maybe to avoid having to keep buying/acquiring notebooks? So far it's been great. I find the actual act of writing to be pleasant. No more having to sharpen my Blackwings constantly or figure out where I left that one notebook. Supernote's online presence and active online community has been a great source of support and learning. The Crystal Clear set is beautiful, feels special and a joy to use.
I had high expectations based on the ads. I feel like I got exactly what I was sold, high praise if you've seen those ads! My only "complaint" is more a note for anyone who's looking at the different pens: the titanium ones are a lot thicker than I expected and not as comfortable as I'd hoped. My own mistake, nothing against the product, just something to be aware of.
I have had my Supernote Nomad for about 6 weeks and it has done everything and more that I need. I use it all the time and have gotten rid of all my paper notebooks.
I love this pen! It's so beautiful and satisfying to hold. It feels like a real fountain pen.
For it’s all about creating a great writing and note taking system. I needed a light weight no nonsense tablet that provides organization and focus. This is the tool. And the feel along with the LAMY stylus is perfect! Bravo SuperNote.
This is a fantastic note taking and reading machine. I have it with me all day when I'm working. I used to use a Samsung tablet for note taking, and distractions aside, this is just a superior writing experience. Heart of metal 2 pen is solid and beautiful. Having a great time using the supernote manta
As a life-long copious note-taker, I yearned for a paper tablet for about 6 months before finally deciding to get one. I spent a lot of time researching, and even borrowed competing options from colleagues to try them out. Despite no one else at my company having a Supernote product, I selected the Manta for myself, and I am absolutely thrilled with that decision. The experience is exquisite: writing with a pen that feels real on a tablet that is incredibly light. The Headings and Keywords give me tools that allow me to organize my notes more thoroughly than I ever could in a paper notebook. I can stay organized while leaving my laptop at my desk, allowing me to be completely engaged in whatever meeting I am attending. And on a sunny day, I took it down to a bench outside to work on a report I was writing, and I could read it there as well as I can at my desk or in a conference room. I was worried that I would slide back to using a paper notebook for one reason or another, but I've not for one second considered that. And now that some of my coworkers have watched me using my Manta for a month, they're starting to think they need an upgrade themselves!
