I drove myself bonkers for weeks, if not months, trying to convince myself that I should go through with a purchase for a digital notebook often asking others around me who recommended things like iPad. I had already tried it and hated the feel. Did I need it? No. Am I so glad I have it? Yes! I have replaced paper, notebooks and journals that were often lying around half filled out with my Nomad. The battery life is excellent. The writing feel AMAZED me as it feels so nice and truly like writing in a nice notebook with a gel pen. I was concerned about buying an open box device, but the savings and US shipping plus extended return window sold me. The item arrived in like new condition (new really!) and I wouldn’t change my decision at all looking back. I did consider the Manta, but the Nomad is a really convenient size for me even at home. There is a learning curve to fully use the features, but stick with the basics at first and it will unfold over time.
