2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse. The world will likely move fast. Frantic, fiery, and full of dust.

But the horse drawn by artist Huyu (@huyu1231) had no intention of joining the rat race. It paced across the screen of the Supernote Nomad, wandered a little, and drifted off. In that drifting, a horn grew from its forehead.

This horn is useless. It isn’t for battle. It won’t make the horse run faster. It simply exists, a daydream made real, an innocent, wild thought.

Machines don’t understand why a horse needs a horn. It’s illogical. But we do. We all need to keep a little illogical imagination in these frantic days.

May your lunar new year be one where you don’t have to run too fast. Drift off occasionally. Grow your own horn.
